Welcome to Stamp Quest! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Stamp Quest app (the “App”) and any related services provided by Stamp Quest (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using the App, whether as a free user or subscriber to Stamp Quest+, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you may not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Stamp Quest is a mobile application that helps users discover, locate, and collect commemorative stamps in Japan and other supported countries. These include but are not limited to Eki Stamps, stamps from tourist attractions, airports, castles, and national parks. Some features, such as offline maps and personalized insights, may only be available through our optional subscription, Stamp Quest+.

3. Subscription and Payments

SStamp Quest+ is an optional paid subscription that provides access to premium features within the App. All payments are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. By subscribing, you agree to the applicable billing terms and conditions of the platform you used to purchase.

You can manage or cancel your subscription through your device settings. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.

Refunds: We do not offer refunds for unused time or features, except as required by law or the policies of the App Store or Google Play Store.

4. Updates and Changes to the App

We may update the App periodically to enhance features, improve performance, or address technical issues. You are responsible for keeping your App updated. Continued use after updates signifies your acceptance of those changes.

5. Accuracy and Availability of Information

We strive to provide accurate, up-to-date information about stamp locations. However, we do not guarantee the presence, accuracy, or availability of any stamp at any specific location. Stamp locations may change or be removed without notice by their respective operators.

We recommend verifying information independently before making travel plans based on the App.

6. Safety Disclaimer

Stamp Quest provides location-based information, but we are not responsible for your personal safety while using the App. You acknowledge that exploring new locations involves risks, and you agree to use the App with appropriate caution and personal judgment.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Stamp Quest shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the App or any reliance on the information provided.

8. User Conduct

You agree to use the App in accordance with all applicable laws and not to use the App for any unlawful, harmful, or abusive activity, including reverse engineering, data scraping, or interfering with App functionality.

9. User Submissions

By submitting content (e.g., photos, stamp locations, descriptions) through the App or Website, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual, and irrevocable license to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, distribute, and display such content for any purpose related to the App.

You represent that you have the necessary rights to grant this license and that your content does not infringe on any third-party rights.

10. Account Management and Deletion

You may choose to delete your account at any time via the in-app settings. Account deletion is permanent and will result in the loss of all user data, including collections and preferences.

If you are a subscriber, please cancel your subscription before deleting your account to avoid future charges.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or harms the App, its users, or its partners.

12. Intellectual Property

All content within the App, including logos, UI elements, maps, and other visual assets, are the property of Stamp Quest or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the App without prior written permission.

13. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy governs how we collect, use, and share your information. By using the App, you also agree to our Privacy Policy, available at https://www.thestampquest.com/privacy-policy.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. The courts of Thailand shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or the App.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the “Effective Date” at the top. Continued use of the App constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

17. Entire Agreement
